So many things have happened since our last post!
A couple of visits to the hospital. One resulted in a very happy one, a huge relief that Aubrey is A-OK with her ct scan! The other is not as good and involves Lola Nelly, as there’s still an operation to go through and worry over… But lots of prayers will help us see it through.

We officially had our last eisteddfod for the year, the KidsXpress at Homebush. Can’t believe how quickly this event comes around each year. Planetdance results for the morning were awesome! Kayla’s Handjive came 3rd in their section, whilst Ethan’s Hip Hop and Tap came 1st. Surprisingly Ethan made it to the final 20 in solos (out of 150) considering he learnt his routine a couple of days before. All in all, a fun (but tiring) day! Hopefully Ethan will be able to perform in these routines again at the end of the year. Fingers crossed.

We had a nice surprise at dinner that night with Ethan and etc performing on Australia’s Got Talent for our TV dinner viewing! You should’ve seen us all screaming in the Living Room. Even got to see yours truly getting very excited over a dancing dog! haha!

Such talented boys, especially at their age. Like Gerri Halliwell said to them that night “that she could picture them years from now when they’re famous popstars, looking back on this old footage of this performance!”
Had nearly a week of sick kids at home, which wasn’t so fun… Poor Kayla had to miss out on Book Character day… She was ready to dress up as a Bear from the book ‘No Bears allowed’ (I think it’s called that! haha). Aubrey and I attended the Book Week presentation that day and really enjoyed the performance by the Drama masterclass and the Harmonics. So relieved that we made it just in time to watch Ethan and Lani perform their solo bits in the opening act, “Pure imagination” from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Aidan and his bball team ‘Black Magic’ won their Grand Final! It was a close game but they survived without subs by the way! Well done Aidan, Black Magic, assistant coach Mal and coach for the day, Daddy!

That same day, Ethan represented Holy Family at the ‘Tournament of Minds’ in which they all did really well and more importantly had lots of fun!

I was doubting whether everyone will be 100% in the leadup to Lani’s first Holy Communion and Aubrey’s birthday party. But thank God, everything turned out and everyone had recovered! Lani looked beautiful in her dress and the Mass was very special although quite noisy at times, but at least that drowned out the sounds of Aubrey in her boredom.

The beautiful celebrants for the day!
